Oh my God...last night was easily the best night ever. First of all, the opening act, Ashley Monroe, was fantastic. I love her songs, and it was so fun to watch her perform.

Now...Hunter.

To say Hunter Hayes is cool is an understatement. He is the sweetest, most talented performer ever. I can't tell you how many times he thanked us for buying his music or spending our Friday night with him. At the end of the concert, he got down on his knees, hands clasped together, and said, "Thank you all so much! God bless you!" At that point, I was seriously considering leaping off the balcony and hugging him.

The setlist was awesome. He played EVERY song from "Encore"—in other words, HE PLAYED "CRY WITH YOU."

HOLY CRAP.

I LOVE THAT SONG.

He opened the show with "Storm Warning," and afterwards played "Can't Say Love" (which ISN'T on "Encore," but is still a fun song to hear live). I thought I was going to lose my mind when he played "Faith to Fall Back On," and "Cry With You," too?!?!

Best. Concert. Ever.

Hunter is a lot of fun to watch onstage. He's not one of those guitarists whose main goal is to hit a bunch of high notes as fast as possible, where the solo doesn't sound like it fits in the song. His playing was as fantastic as his singing, and his writing, too—in addition to his playing abilities and his voice, he is a gifted songwriter.

After he played "Where We Left Off," I swear you could feel everybody's excitement—he hesitated at the piano for a second, and then played a few notes. We all knew what he was going to play.

The first few notes of "Wanted" were enough to elicit deafening cheers from the audience. Just like all the other songs, everyone sang every single word. The chorus was really something, though.

Hunter didn't sing the chorus; we did. He kept playing, grinning at the audience as we sang every word. It was just like when the audience sang the chorus in "If I Die Young" when The Band Perry opened for the Rascal Flatts show.

The ending was just too awesome. Everyone was waiting for him to play "I Want Crazy." (This is the Let's Be Crazy Tour, after all.) He closed the show with the song, and the balcony actually shook because everybody was jumping up and down, freaking out. It was a fantastic ending.

It's hard to choose a favorite part of the show, but I absolutely love how Hunter interacts with his fans. At least three times, he reached out to touch the hands of those in the front row. He constantly said, "You're beautiful, _______!" and "You guys sound amazing! LET'S BE CRAZY!!!" The best, though, was each time he would say, "I love you more!" we would all scream louder, and then he'd yell, "I love you more!" It was so much fun.

Long story short, Hunter Hayes is a fantastic performer. He is inspiring both as a musician and as a person; he is so good to his fans and is just a really nice guy. Honestly, listening to his music is like talking to a friend. At least, that's how it has always felt for me.

Update :D

Hi everybody!

It's been a while, so I just wanted to post a quick update.

School has been keeping me busy, and music is going really well! I'm taking official guitar lessons each week—and messing around with the GarageBand app. I'm definitely not used to it. XD

But it's a great app to have—with it, I can put together songs using instruments I don't own. Of course, I have no idea how to work it and accidentally recorded myself several times, but I'll figure it out at some point...

I recently wrote a second song for Hunter Hayes—and I've noticed a huge difference between my writing two years ago and now. My lyrics specifically improve with every song I write.

It's pretty late, so I have to go to sleep.

Wait—what am I doing in twelve days, you ask?

AMAZING

August seventeenth, I saw Rascal Flatts in concert.

THEY WERE INCREDIBLE.

Cassadee Pope and The Band Perry opened for them.  Everybody was awesome!  I swear, country music is just the friendliest genre with such a "big giant family" vibe. :)

If Rascal Flatts are coming to your area, I highly recommend seeing them.  My only complaint is that they didn't play "My Wish"—but they have so many awesome songs that it must be difficult to figure out the set list. :)

2013 CMA Music Fest! :D

NOTE: Blogger was having problems at the time I was making this post, so it may have been uploaded a day to a week later.  I wrote it on Monday, August 12th.  I hate you, computer. (Computer: I hate you, too!  Trollolololol!)

Who watched the three hour long CMA Music Fest on ABC tonight? :)

It was so awesome!  I still think Hunter ought to release "Cry With You" or "Love Makes Me" as singles...they'd both do really well.  And congratulations to him for "I Want Crazy" hitting number one!  I can't wait to see him in October.  He was fantastic tonight. :) ("Everybody's Got Somebody But Me" is stuck in my head...XD)

Actually, everybody was fantastic tonight.  It never fails to amaze my mom and me how good country singers sound live...I practically died when Eric Church started playing "Keep On."

People complain about how today's country isn't true country and Taylor Swift is pop and what the heck is Jason Aldean doing rapping and blah blah blah.

I'll admit—country is branching out quite a bit.  "Red" is a lot different from Taylor's debut.  And I was kind of confused by Jason rapping in "Dirt Road Anthem" and "1994," too.

For the most part, I still call today's country country.  It's not, of course, traditional country, but I'm not calling it traditional country.  I'm calling it country—as in, one of the branches of country. 

While I defend Taylor in saying she may be pop now, but she should still be considered a country artist in that she started out country and will still play country songs, I'll admit that I have a bit of trouble calling someone like Kelly Clarkson country.  Taylor started out in Nashville—Kelly didn't.  Don't get me wrong, I think Kelly's a fantastic singer, but I'm always going to associate her with pop. 

As for Darius Rucker, I think of him as a country artist immediately because, well, I never heard any songs from Hootie and the Blowfish.  My mom, on the other hand, always exclaims, "Hootie!" whenever he's on the radio, haha. :)

I think bands like Florida Georgia Line are really interesting.  They have a little bit of everything (Keith Urban reference ;)) in that they're on country radio, pop radio, and who knows what other genres are on their album.  They're a ton of fun to listen to, and that's pretty impressive when an artist's first single hits number one.  The same happened for Taylor, and that's not something that happens very often.  I think "Storm Warning" was only in the top twenty (it should have gotten to number one, though...:P). 

For those who believe today's country isn't country, well, fine, no one's forcing you to believe anything.  But just remember this—artists today like Florida Georgia Line and Taylor Swift were influenced by artists like Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton.  You may not hear traditional country in their music, but believe me, it's there in their hearts. (Wow.  That was super cheesy.)

And you know, it's fun to switch things up a bit every now and then.  My first time listening to Pip was really funny—I wasn't used to pop.  The closest I came to pop before then was "Forever & Always" by Taylor Swift. (Since it was before "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "22" came out.)  The same goes for Nathan Parrett—although I've only heard one original from him...I'm so writing a song for him. XD

And then there are some artists that are keeping the traditional sound—like Justin Moore and Ashley Monroe.  Their music is really awesome and inspiring, too. 

So the summary of this post?  I'll listen to anything country.  It's all at least a little country to me, and although the rap thing is odd for me, I can get used to it—as long as there's not too much of it.  I really like Jason Aldean, but even two songs is pushing it for me, and that's not counting the kind of rap verses in "The Only Way I Know."

Brass Buckle Band

Hey there!

I just heard this really awesome band at a country festival (I can't believe they had a Country Day here!!! :D) in my area.  They're called the Brass Buckle Band, and they're made up of extremely talented musicians who play anything from Johnny Cash to Florida Georgia Line.  I heard them play Luke Bryan's "Country Girl," Keith Urban's "You Look Good In My Shirt," several Toby Keith songs, and other awesome country music.  I look forward to listening to their future music. :)

I PLAYED MY FIRST BANJO!!!!

Yesterday, my dad and I went to a guitar store nearby. 

AND THEY HAD BANJOS.

LOTS AND LOTS OF BANJOS.

So I played one...I sounded awful at first, since I didn't know what I was doing. XD But I randomly played different strings and eventually came up with something I considered adding to one of my songs.

I recorded it on my MP3 player (it's about twenty seconds long) and listened to it while looking through a list of my songs.  I found a couple that could work, but I wasn't really sure about adding it.

Then I came across Keith Urban's song.

IT FITS PERFECTLY.

I always have ideas for the music for songs, and the melody will get stuck in my head, but I'd never be able to actually play it since I don't have the instruments. (And I will never learn how to tune that violin.  Ever.)

But now that I can go to this store and play around with the banjo (I'll really never learn how to tune it) and experiment.  This is so exciting!  I can't wait to play with it again. :)

The thrill of learning a new instrument...it's so much fun.  It's like checking out a new artist's music—which is another thing I'm currently doing.

For any fans of "The Voice," do you guys remember Nathan Parrett?  He went up against Pip in one of the rounds and, unfortunately, didn't go further on the show.  Although he definitely should have—he was really awesome. 

I found his YouTube channel and Facebook page, so I'm going to start watching his videos.  I can't wait to hear some of his music—especially since, I'm pretty sure, country isn't his genre.  That was something that was really fun about listening to Pip's EP.  I'm so used to country that it's really strange to listen to pop songs. 

And I'm pretty much done with my illness.

I left choir early.  I'm really busy with school (and getting wrapped up in Krav ;)), so I left after the fundraiser last Friday.  I got a lot of goodbye hugs and even stayed in touch with a couple kids, so I left on a good note. (HA!!  BAHAHAHAHA!!!  HUMOOOR!!!!)

There's testing for level two in Krav next month, and I know Daddy's gonna do it, but I'm not sure if I can.  I want to, but we'll see what happens.  Tons of things have been happening lately...

My songwriting has been going great—I have seven songs I plan to send to other artists.

Let's see...Keith Urban, Thompson Square, Billy Currington (I'll rewrite this one at some point XD), Hunter Hayes (I WROTE THE LETTER!!  OH YEAHHHH!!!!!), Eric Church, Lady Antebellum...??

Whoa.  Whoa.  WHOA. 

That's crazy.

Well, crazy as it may seem, it's true—I'm writing a song for PIP!!!

I know I say I only write country music, but I have a very Taylor Swift-Hunter Hayes songwriting style.  It's kind of country-pop, but it's not more pop like "I Knew You Were Trouble" or "22". 

Still, there's no banjo or fiddle, which makes it difficult to write. XD

I have a verse and the chorus, and I really like how it's going.  I'm super excited about it. 

School's been good.  I have Test 120 this week.  After that, I'll only have tests 140 and 160, then I'll be done for a week, then I'll go straight into the next grade.  Huzzah...

Oh well.  Gettin' crap done, at least...

Oh, and guess who's playing a small acoustic set in my area tonight?

HUNTER.  HAYES.

"Oh, you mean your favorite singer/songwriter/musician/human whom you've missed opening for Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood?"

Yes.  Him.

I wouldn't have been able to go even if I won tickets from the radio—you have to be at least twenty-one to get in...which, actually, is kind of funny when you think about it, considering the fact he wouldn't have been able to go to his own show a year ago. XD

Fortunately, I think there's gonna be a livestream on US99's website tonight...WOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!

And I heard him talking about it on the radio, so that was pretty awesome. :D

Things are going pretty well...ups and downs for everything, but eh, that's life.  I wasn't playing guitar because I was busy with school and choir and Krav, but now that I'm done with choir, that gives me over six hours back in my week. (Two rehearsals a week, and it takes about an hour to get there...bleh.  I'll still miss it a lot, though. <3) I began practicing guitar again, thank goodness...

STUPID DRAWING TIIIIIME!! OH YEAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where we do Krav, there's a really tight hallway where everybody exits out into after their classes.  A few minutes after our class, I went to get my coat, and there was only like, one other person there.  It was pretty quiet.

As usual, my cousin and I were goofing around and laughing about something.  I don't remember if we were making fart noises or duck noises or walrus noises or what, but we made some kind of disturbing noise that we thought was absolutely hilarious.

As one of us made this sound, a woman walked by.  She probably was picking up her kid from a class or something.

Well, she was disturbed.

It was so hilarious.  She literally spun around and stared at us, horrified. 

We laughed so freaking hard.

You know, I really enjoy all the reactions I get.

About twenty minutes after I wrote Eric Church's song, I wrote a duet—with Lady Antebellum in mind.

This is the sixth song (counting Billy Currington's soon-to-be rewritten song) I have that I'm gonna send to other people...I'm so excited.

I'm listening to country music right now as I write. XD Little Big Town's "Tornado" is currently playing.  Mom and I were listening to country during breakfast—we heard Carrie Underwood, Chris Young, Taylor Swift...an awesome way to start Friday. :) (I'm still hoping "Wanted" or "Somebody's Heartbreak" will come on. ;))

My mom and I absolutely LOVE Eric. We're part of the Church Choir, haha...;)

Anyway, we were listening to Chief on the way to choir today, and when we got home, I had an idea for a song. (Its message is like Eric's song "Homeboy." It's a fantastic song.  You gotta check it out. :D)

After writing just the first few lines, I could imagine Eric singing it.  With the thought of sending it to him, I finished it easily.

I'M SO EXCITED!!!

This is the fifth song I've written that I plan to send to other people (well, I guess fourth—I wrote a song for Billy Currington, but I lost it :P I'm gonna rewrite it at some point, though :)).  WOOHHOOOO!!!

I did better with drawing Brad's facial hair this time—even if everybody's ears SUCK.  I apologize for the terrible drawing, haha. XD

Thank you all for reading!  I'm so happy about this song.  I've been working a lot on my music lately, and I have a dress rehearsal on Saturday and a performance on Sunday, so I'm pretty busy.  I hope to go to Krav on Monday, but I don't think I'll be able to go. I've never done this with the computer before, so I don't know if it'll be really expensive or what.  I'll have to experiment with it.

Oh, and guess who caught the flu three days after her birthday and COULDN'T GO TO THE KRAV MAGA CHRISTMAS PARTY?!?!

I don't even LIKE going to most parties. XD Dad went and said that they asked about me. <3 :)

I had to miss two weeks of Krav in a row; the first because I was sick (and I missed a choir rehearsal that week, too), and the second because of a choir performance (that was shaky, but now I'm totally fine). 

As for a choir update, be prepared for confusion. XD
Okay, so last year, I was an alto III, and then my choir director made me a II.  I had to relearn a song we were doing again from last year (I still can't get that freakin' chorus...!!), but I got the other songs down.  THIS semester, he made me a III, and when I learned most of three songs, he made me a II because more were needed.  So I had to relearn most of three songs AND a song we were doing last year...which I learned as a III the first time.

That was confusing. XD
He always says if we don't feel comfortable where we are, he'll switch us around; he says that's more important than the parts being evened out.

Even though I loved being a III, and being a bordering II is NOT an easy part, still, I don't care; if I'm a I, THEN I'll have to be changed. XD

I have a few tracks for my seventh album—around five.  I'm still working on my sixth, actually; I don't have all the completed lyrics!  That's going pretty well, though.  A nice thing about being sick is that I got to work on some of my music a lot more. :D

And I have Test 100 next week...yippee. (O.O)

Well, I've got bad news: I think I ran out of picture space.

Funny how this pops up—I was just thinking of getting a Facebook account for my blog.  I'm pretty sure I have unlimited space for pictures on it; maybe I could just have musical updates here and silly pictures on the page.

I'm not sure.  I still have to get it figured out with Mom later on. 

As for a musical update...

I finished another song, "Turning Twenty," that was verse-less for a while.  It's one of my favorites—right up there with "Waiting in Tennessee."

I have choir later on today, and Test 100 is coming up in a few lessons, so I'm gonna be really busy this week and the next one.  I might even make a Twitter page for American Songwriter 99...oh jeez.  Just Facebook, never mind, haha!

I'm sure I'll find a way to get more space.  I'm gonna do a test with one of my blog pictures today, and if it works, then I won't have to make a Facebook page or get more space.  If it doesn't...crap.

American Songwriter 99's Own Account?

My sister and I just goofed around with Facebook last night, and she helped me make an account.

Naturally, I have no idea how to do anything.  But it's still fun.

I was just thinking—"What would it be like if I made a Twitter or Facebook account just for my blog?"

Then I thought it was silly; after all, I'm still super new.  This blog is only like, six months old.  Besides, no one's even seen my songs (I'm convinced Keith didn't get it >:().  So what's the point in making an account for something people don't know about?

It sounds like it'd be fun, though—I'd feel all business-y and such.  And yes, I will add my weird pictures on that account, too—if I figure out how to. ;)

I won't be making AS99's account anytime soon, but it IS a fun thought.  I'd have to think what the heck I'd put up there.  I barely have musical updates on here—just weird stuff I, and apparently other people, think is funny. XD

Who knows?  Maybe in a few years (several, several, SEVERAL years XD), I'll have my own account just for this blog. 

And maybe a few pictures.

Okay, so I'm gonna tell you a story (or update, whatever you wish to call it) only because the pictures I'll draw will make no sense without it.

You know how I told you about Carrie Underwood coming to my area with Hunter Hayes opening the show?  And how bummed out I was that I couldn't get tickets because I thought they were sold out?

Well, they AREN'T sold out, and I could get decent seats, but the problem is that the concert is in a bad neighborhood; the crime rate is too high for our liking.  So it's a no. :(

I was trying to come up with all the reasons in the world why I should be glad I'm not going.

That, of course, is a huge fail.

I saw Brad Paisley this year (best.  Concert.  EVER!!!) with Miranda Lambert, the Pistol Annies, The Band Perry, Jerrod Niemann (due to heavy traffic, we missed his performance :(), and Chris Young opening.  When Chris's song "You" started playing, oh God, all those fangirls screamed SO LOUD.  Even though I'm not that hopelessly in love with him, I decided to scream along with them, just for the heck of it. 

I figured that when Hunter started playing "Wanted," I'd go deaf with all the fangirls screaming (and my own screaming).  So there's ONE good reason to stay home.

Nah.  Still not enough to keep me home.

Is that bad? XD

I keep thinking, "Aw, man!  I missed Hunter open for Taylor Swift, and now I'm missing him opening for Carrie Underwood?  Who's next, Keith Urban?!?!?!?" My friend and I then began thinking about all the ways I'd get to meet him.

First Music Post in a Really Long Time XD

I sometimes forget this is a music blog. XD

Ok.  So here's your update:

I've currently got eight songs on my fifth album.  And you know, if you asked me, "Hey, make a list of every single person you've written about," then I'm gonna waste A LOT of paper.

Hee hee.

Yeah, it doesn't take much...☺

Krav Maga on Saturday was fun, as usual.  I'm grateful I didn't get smacked in the face—I wasn't wearing my mouth guard, heh heh. >:D

I finished Test 80 last week, so I'm officially half way through my grade!  Huzzah!

This isn't musical, sorry, haha. XD

Last summer, I finished every single song I had, but now I have at least three unfinished ones.  I'm just stuck.  I've got writer's block.

Bleh.

I guess I need some more inspiration...hee hee...my peers better watch out. ;)

(Oh, and for those who watch "The Walking Dead"—we're SO glad Lori's finally gone!  Gosh, she was annoying.  Why would you do that in a forest during a zombie apocalypse with your husband's best friend after he's been supposedly dead for two weeks?  Ugh...the baby's really cute, though.  I'm rootin' for the baby. XD)

So yesterday, my sister and I played Slender for the very first time.  It's such an awesome game—although my laptop is REALLY buggy, so sometimes, it won't let me move. Sorry.  I don't know what else to name this post. XD

So nothing super exciting has been going on.  I thought Taylor Swift's album was out on the thirtieth, but it's out on the twenty-second instead.  I still haven't looked up Dustin Lynch's album yet; I only know one song. XD
STILL won't be seeing Carrie Underwood and Hunter Hayes this December (DARN IT!!!), but hey, I may be able to get tickets from the radio...you never know.

Choir is the usual.  Lots of fun and cool songs. :)

Songwriting is going pretty well.  I think I'm almost done with my fifth album, and I may record sometime Saturday...

So on Sunday, my family and I were watching The Walking Dead.  This is the first episode I've seen, so I'm totally confused.  Could I just say, though, that one of the characters looks A LOT like Blake Shelton?  I was like, "Oh my gosh, Blake's a zombie killer!!!" I don't remember his name, of course, but seriously...it's pretty awesome.

And Blake would be an awesome zombie killer.  I can definitely see that.

So yeah.  PICTURE!!!!!!!!!

You know, after watching Aragorn chop hundreds of orcs' heads off, the show wasn't too bad.  Could've done without the eating shots, though.

Just an Update of Boringness

Nothing super exciting is going on, but I wanna write a new post. :)

Dad tried Krav Maga today, and he really liked it!  Looks like my poor cousin will be dragged into it after all, hee hee. :D

I currently have four tracks on my fifth album. WOO!!!  I don't feel really inspired when it comes to writing, though.  And no, I haven't sent Keith Urban the song again or Thompson Square or Billy Currington or Hunter Hayes.  I haven't even written Hunter's song...yet...mwahahahaha...!!!

School is going all right—I started in July and I'm already sick of it. XD Although I'm a little more than a fourth of the way through.  Looks like seven lessons a week really pays off, eh? X)

I'm probably going to be recording today, or studying, or looking at choir music—did I mention how my choir director switched me?

Dang it.  I like being an alto III—who usually have the lowest parts—but he made me an alto II.  *pout* Then my sister reminded me how she, who was there for four and a half years (I've only been around for like, one and a half), was NEVER permanently a II.  The II's usually have the hardest parts, and not only am I a II, but I border a III, so it's like a super honor now.

YAY!!!

Still miss being a III...ah well.  I'll adjust.  Somewhat. :D

Fourth, DONE!

Yup, my fourth album is DONE!!!!

Eleven tracks per album, and I didn't even notice. XD I'm so oblivious...XD

Of course, when I say a song is finished, I mean the lyrics are, and some songs don't even have any instruments at all.  I just have an acoustic guitar, and electric guitar, a fiddle and we don't even know how to tune it, and a keyboard. (We have drums, which I'm awful at playing, a piano, several other guitars, two amps—I have a little one in my room that just collects dust—and two basses.)

Someday, I shall own a banjo. 

THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!

I didn't know electric banjos existed until I went to a Brad Paisley concert and The Band Perry was performing.  Dude, that was AWESOME. 

Electric banjos...that sounds so darn cool.

Anyway...XD
I even made my own version of "Last Christmas" by Wham!  Usually when I come up with instruments for a song, it's all in my head and it very rarely is actually played because...well...I have no idea how to play the violin and I don't even own a banjo. 

But at least I'm done with another album.  I don't believe it...number five!!

And for all you country music fans, I think the CMA's are on November first, but alas, I don't remember what time.  Dang it...

And I think Taylor Swift's fourth album, "Red," is out October thirtieth.  YAY!!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  CHRISTMAS PRESENTTTTTT!!!! XD

A couple months ago, for school, they wanted me to choose from a list of items ONE THING I would use to help me survive on a stranded island.  I chose three instead.

You see, Coconut Man would keep me company, and I'd never get lonely, so I'd never go too insane. Ah, who am I kidding?  I'm already insane. >8D

Holy Cheesesticks!!

So this was my last week with Krav Maga.  I'm going to miss a few classes, since choir is starting next week, and we're hoping my cousin and I can go in on the adult class on Saturday mornings to make up for the ones we'll miss.

We joined over the summer when the class started in March, and my cousin missed this week (she started school last week and was too busy), and guess what?

We got our test results back.

I didn't know half of the stuff on the test at the time (I know now, though ;D XD), so I thought I'd fail for sure.

I passed.

And I got a CERTIFICATE!!!!

WOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was super excited.  When we got in the car, I asked, "Wanna listen to the radio?" Mom didn't care, so I turned it on, and guess what?

WANTED WAS PLAYING!!! AND IT WAS JUST THE SECOND VERSE!!!!!!

They NEVER play Hunter Hayes.  I usually just hear Wanted at midnight and I haven't heard Storm Warning on the radio in a year.

So I freaked out.

Also, on the way home from another Krav Maga class a couple weeks ago, Ain't Nothing 'Bout You by Brooks & Dunn was playing.

Not only is that my favorite song of all time, but they like, NEVER play Brooks & Dunn, either, and the last time I heard that song on the radio was last summer as well.

Besides that, nothing exciting is going on. XD
It's been 51 days since I sent my song to Keith Urban, and Mom and I decided to send a more formal letter again in a couple weeks.  I said I'd be pesty, didn't I? ;) XD

By the way, I totally suck at playing the fiddle. XD I'm so bad...XD I guess it's the combination of us not knowing how to tune it and me just not being good with violins. XD
Anyway, songwriting is going pretty good.  I'm getting inspiration—*narrows eyes at specific people*—everywhere, which is super helpful. (Sometimes, when it comes to a love song, since I never dated, I just add on to the story and exaggerate...or I'll write about my penpals' experiences. ;) XD) (In other words, no one's safe. >:D XD)

Fourth Album!!!!

OHMYGOSH!!!

I've noticed a trend here.  My demo has eleven songs.  My debut has eleven songs.  My third has eleven songs.  And the fourth?

So far, it has nine songs.

Who thinks we can make it to eleven?

I'm really excited!  There's only one song, "Sorry," that doesn't have completed lyrics at the moment.  I think I have like, forty-eight songs in all right now.

*happy dance*

I love happy dances.  They make me happy.

ANYWAY, I must go, and I am very sad to say I don't have much time to make a new picture for you. *sulk*

New Song!!

Well, I guess the Keith-Urban-song-thing ain't a countdown...ah, whatever...

I haven't sent Thompson Square's or Billy Currington's songs yet...and I kinda have an idea for a song I might send to Hunter Hayes—*faints*

*five minutes later*

Ok.  I'm fine.

Anyway, it's been thirty-seven days since I sent my song to Keith Urban  (I'm pretty sure, at least...), I'll start the countdown for my birthday when it's actually a month before, and choir starts in 19 days. YIPPEE!!!

I even planned out what I'm wearing. XD
Okay, so my grandparents on my dad's side are an hour away and have seven acres.  I love it there—I drive that golf cart like a madman.  Also, the frogs are fun to hold...until the jump onto your shoulder and pee on you. (Not good for your first time holding frogs.)

In their town is Farm & Fleet.

Also known as THE BEST STORE EVER!!!

Seriously, HOW many stores have cheeseballs (that's a word, darn it!!) and cowboy boots and OFFICE SUPPLIES?!?!?!

Yes. My favorite stores are Farm & Fleet, Office Depot, and Godiva.

Anyway, there are two AWESOME pairs of cowboy boots there.

I currently have a pair of black muddy boots, brown boots (got them for my birthday this year XD), a black cowboy hat, a beige-ish white-ish yellow-ish cowboy hat (both are straw hats), a brown straw cowboy hat, and another brown cowboy hat I got in a nice Amish community.  The other three are from Alabama. :D

Anyway, Mom said the next time we go to my grandparents' house (which is this Saturday, I think), I can buy a pair of boots (black and white fake snakeskin ones. Oh yeah!!) and get a pair for  Christmas (black and red with a white silhouette of a bull head on it—like on Brooks & Dunn albums!!!!!!!!!).

Do you know what this means?

As someone with  OCD, this is slightly exciting for me.

I will have four hats.

AND FOUR PAIRS OF BOOTS.

OMG.

I CAN MATCH.

EVENLY!!!!

Yeah, I organize a ton. X)

So yeah. EXCITED!!!

What was I talking about before? XD Oh yeah. Choir. XD

I'm thinkin' of wearing the black and white fake snakeskin boots, a white dress, the black cowboy hat (the straw brown one is my favorite, but hey, gotta mix-and-match...;)), and these white gloves (although they're sort of like mittens in that the fingers are all together and you can roll them up if you're cold—I'll draw you a picture) with a Rivendell-Lothlórien-like design Mom knitted.
